I knew this was not forever…I also knew that when it ends, it would be heart breaking. But that did not stop me from giving my all and getting back even more!
After 3.5 wonderful years and with more memories than I can count, it’s finally time for K, Mia and me to finally say good bye to the amazing city of Joburg, its wonderful people and the beautiful country of South Africa. This place will forever be my second home and will always have a very special place in all our hearts. Mia is the little piece of South Africa that we are taking back with us and she will forever be our link to this country that has been our home over the last few years.
But as all good things must end, so must this adventure. But only to begin a new one. Mia Musings will be moving from the sunny shores of South Africa to the slightly grey skies of the United Kingdom. But be rest assured, the journey will continue as we pack our bags once again.
I will be back with more news once we get the other side – southern hemisphere you will missed!
I’m looking forward to your next posts. Hopefully the UK stays in the EU, so you can see more countries here, more easily.
Since I have an Indian passport, whether UK stays or leaves, I will continue to need visas for both the UK & EU! So rest assured, Europe travel will be high priority.
😦
Anyway, I wish you best of luck for your move. Drop me a note, when planing another trip to Germany.
🙂 Will do! We have much of Germany still to see. Thank you Solaner.
🙂 sure!
Good luck with moving back to the UK. It must be sad leaving South Africa but apart from Mia, you will be taking many happy memories back with you. Looking forward to hearing your adventures in the UK 🙂
Thanks Mabel! Leaving SA has been very difficult – will miss everything about this wonderful country. But life moves on and so must we as well. Looking forward to new adventures 🙂

Oh no, I thought you received your permanent residence so were there to stay!
Oh no Vonita, we are travellers. …not putting down roots anywhere. ..yet!
You could always try the dusty skies of India. Lots of sun, though!
India is home Rajiv and will always be home! We moved out just a few years ago…but will be back eventually for sure.
Inshahallah!
